Travel Tips
After interviewing Casey Fremont, we rounded up a few of our favorite art museums in the United States for you to share with your families. Each of these museums offers a myriad of activities for children of all ages. Whether it is a guided story-time, touchable art, crafting classes, or virtual tours - each one has something for everyone.
Planning a big family vacation comes with a lot of, well, planning. But getting prepared for what awaits at your destination and what you’re leaving behind at home is one of the best ways to ensure a relaxing trip (and to ease the transition once you’re back home).

The snacks are packed, the iPad’s loaded, the passports are in hand, and everyone’s well-rested. But, even under the best of circumstances, flying with children can be enough to rattle the most seasoned of travelers. Because even when everything goes right, it’s still exhausting to haul five carry-ons and as many human beings from one end of the country (or the world) to another.

The New York gallery scene is one of the best in the world, but it's also SUPER intimidating; there are so many options that aren't always apparent or welcoming, and figuring out a route that's family friendly (i.e. near some snacks) is so tricky. As the Founder of Mason Lane, a Brooklyn-based art advisory that styles walls nationwide, I'm into art and efficiency, and as a fellow mama I'm always all about family-friendly anything. I'm not going to lie. I dread flights with my kids. They cry, throw food, kick the seats in front of them, stare awkwardly at the people behind them. During boarding, I literally run down the aisle to our seats and avoid all eye contact with my fellow passengers, because I know, at some point, they are going to hate me, and I can't bear any type of interaction beforehand or I begin to feel guilt (okay, I'm being a bit dramatic - there are always a few tolerant, helpful passengers who are, themselves, parents, and to them, I could not be more grateful. But I emphasize the word "few.")
