The Battery Maritime Building is a building that many New Yorkers will know on sight but had never stepped foot in; until now.  Reimagined as Casa Cipriani New York, a hotel and member’s club from the classic Italian Cipriani empire, you know this is going to be a lesson in luxury. The forty-seven suites were designed by Theirry Despont and feature cashmere covered walls by Loro Piana Interiors, the sheets are from the finest luxury linen house in Italy and the river facing rooms have their own private terraces complete with Statue of Liberty views.  With a Cipriani restaurant, a jazz cafe and an art deco bar, guests could spend their entire stay inside the hotel and not tire of the spectacle or people watching!
